I can confidently say that Balvir was among the best of tour guides I had experienced during my travel to various destinations within & outside India. He was extremely knowledgeable, dependable, honest & sincere. Balvir was always punctual and took care of our every need. Towards the end of our trip, he became a friend (I should say he became part of our family...). We were indeed sad to say bye to him at the conclusion of our stay in Agra.

The driver met us with a placard as soon as we stepped out of the train station, and from then on he miraculously was waiting exactly where we exited after each excursion. This was really nice for my elderly parents.

This trip was special as I brought my 9 year old son along. Balvir Singh spoke English very well, and immediately connected with my son - making the story of the Taj so engrossing and thrilling! He answered all of our questions with ease, and was professional, courteous, and flexible (we stopped to take many many photos!). We left the Taj feeling so much more knowledgeable than going in, despite reading lots about it beforehand (and seeing it previously).

After the Taj, Balvir Singh took us to an artisan craft store to see how the inlay work of the Taj was done firsthand. We followed this with lunch at ITC and then a trip to the Agra Fort. We were able to do a lot, but we never felt rushed or hurried. All in all, I'd highly recommend Balvir Singh and will be making sure to book him again as a guide the next time we come!   I had planned our visit to Agra along with my friends from the UK on 26th Jan 2023. I had the desire to engage a specialist who can guide us... read more through Agra within the limited time available with us but I was also concerned having heard some worrying stories such as poor service, intense selling and so on and so forth. Still I decided to engage Tajmahal Pvt Holidays represented by their owner Mr. Balvirji. Suffice to say that we were blown away by the humility and expertise displayed by him. He was on time each time and treated us with true Indian hospitality. The best thing about him was that he was extremely humble and never hard-sold any activity in Agra. He is very knowledgeable of course. In the end we extended our trip on the next day and visited the wonderful Agra Fort as well. It was entirely due to the professionalism, service and humility displayed by Balvirji. I strongly recommend anyone visiting Agra to seek out his services and rest assured.
